We have received and approved the Hard Proofs Package from Panda Games! This is exciting news because the hard proofs are the last step before mass production. I have included some pictures below for everyone to see, and I'll explain a little about the purpose of each box set to help you understand what your looking at.
A Hard Proofs package consists of three things: A Color Proof, a White Dummy, and a Mockup. Each item has a specific purpose.
The Color Proof is the actual high resolution game images printed on thin, high quality, bright white paper. By consulting the color proofs the publisher can verify things like color quality, brightness, legibility and and general appearance.
The White Dummy is a sampling of the actual final game materials unprinted. This allows the publisher to confirm the final materials quality and check things like thickness, and finish.
The Mock up is a low resolution printed and assembled version of the game. It is not printed on the final materials nor at the final resolution, however it does allow the publisher to see the final product and get a view of the game as a whole.
