Five Tribes: The Thieves of Naqala is a mini-expansion of six thief cards and one new djinn for Five Tribes that introduces a new element the base game to create a real thorn in your opponents' side. The djinn is shuffled into the deck with the other djinns and protects you from the effects of thieves. One thief card is revealed at random at the start of the game, and whenever someone would buy a djinn, they can purchase the thief card for the same price as the djinn. Each thief is associated with one of the tribes, and whenever you take an action with that tribe, you can choose to activate and discard the thief. If you do, everyone else must get rid of something — two resource cards, one tile they control, even a djinn or palace — after which you get to choose to keep something from all the discarded things.

Vad ca trend-ul asta cu hai ca iti dau o carte in plus, sari cu X lei/euro/dolari tranzitioneaza si in lumea boardgame-urilor.

In Stefan Feld's new game The Oracle of Delphi, the player's ships travel across a large variable game board of hexagonal tiles showing islands and the surrounding waters. Each player aims to reach certain islands to perform the twelve tasks given by Zeus: e.g., to collect offerings of different colors and to deliver them to corresponding temples, or to slay monsters of a specific type (and color), all of which can be discovered on the islands.

In order to execute these color-dependent actions, you are given three colored dice each turn, the so-called "oracle dice". Rolling the dice (at the start of the turn) is equivalent to consulting the oracle, whereas the results represent her answers. The answers determine which actions you will be able to take, but you will always have three actions per turn. However, a slight divergence from your fate is often possible.

In addition to the oracle, you can request support from the gods and you can acquire favor tokens, companions, and other special abilities that will help you win the race against other competitors.

Differently equipped ships and the variable set-up of the game board will offer new challenging and interesting strategic and tactical decisions with every new game of The Oracle of Delphi that you play.

BACKSTAGE

When the game starts, the 32 backstage cards are shuffled and then placed just like the Character cards are (that is to say 6 cards for 4 players, 5 cards for three players and 4 cards for 1 or 2 players). These characters can be used on days 1-6 and will be replaced during the maintenance phase.

.Phase 1 (Wager): Players bet normally. However, instead of putting aside non wagered cylinders, they place them on the deck of backstage cards. So a player who bets three, places their two remaining cylinders on backstage and a five cylinder bettor can't place anything on backstage.

.Phase 2 (recruitment & activation): in addition to the two normal actions (recruit or activate), a player can also use the backstage action. For that it takes one or more cylinders placed on the deck of backstage cards. The player then places them on an available (unused) character of his choice. It applies the effect of the character and his action is over.

.Recruiting card: in the expansion, Recruitment has two uses. The first is the same as in the basic game: recruit a character card. The second is related to backstage: the player can use its recruitment card as a "virtual" cylinder backstage. This virtual cylinder can be used alone (to apply the effect of a character asking one cylinder) or together with the cylinders that the player has placed on the deck of Backstage cards. If he uses his card Recruitment this way, the player will obviously perform no recruitment during this day.
